Bio (Kelly Frankson)
Doctor of Social Sciences
Kelly Frankson started her career as an analyst for process improvement teams, this then shifted to leading process improvement projects, and then to developing the capacity for others to lead the work. Her focus is now on putting the necessary infrastructure in place to embed a culture of continuous improvement that enables employees to identify opportunities for improvement and empowers them to proactively address them. Although involving the frontline is key, she spends much of her time working to build competency at the manager level giving them the confidence required to coach their staff through developing new behaviours. She founded ciCULTURE and recently has been working with Clearly, Vancouver Coastal Health and Douglas College to embed cultures of continuous improvement. Her expertise has been recognized internationally and she has been asked to deliver strategy deployment webinars and present a variety of papers at Lean conferences around North America. She has an MBA, Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt, CPIM and Prosci Change Management and Coaching Out of the Box certifications.
