Bio (Susan Euverman)
Doctor of Social Sciences
Susan is in her eleventh year of being an elementary public school teacher where she has taught a variety of grades and subjects and is now looking for a change in her career. Her research interests include gender studies and sociology, understanding why people do what they do, and why some children thrive, yet their siblings who are raised in the same home may not. Since completing her Master’s Degree in Gender Studies in 2011 she has an increasing interest in understanding boys in the education system. She loves to learn and looks forward to meeting people from outside the public education sector and learning about their interests. She is willing to share her ideas and hopes to contribute to the learning of all those in her cohort group. Susan is 42 years old and has one son who is turning 20 this year.
